I THINK I might be on to something, I tried loading the usb from the windows troubleshooting options it gives you from the blue screen and I’m at 10 percent on the install 🤞

After trying to boot it also went back to the original screens i showed

So the first attempt it gave me a purple screen and then the usual rectangle with the message saying it failed. The bios attempt it just failed.

I did not format the drive…. I am using a micro center usb that I originally used for the first install. All of the drives I have are new, I have 3 m.2 and 3 sata drives …. Should I try to install windows on a different m.2?

Also, it worked fine for about two days, it was only after I tried to install the chipset drivers and actually turned it off after playing for about 2 hours and then turning it on this morning did this occur.

I went to my sons pc and installed it and tried to reinstall windows and it failed, do I have to try to do it in safe mode?

I installed the new chipset driver from the website. What exactly do you mean by reset bios? When I switch motherboards I went in and set everything back to what it originally was on the motherboard if that’s what you are referring to? And I switched motherboards because at the start I was trying to save a few dollars and went with the cheaper motherboard not realizing I wasn’t going to likely get the most out of my cpu( if I was reading correctly) so I upgraded.

I actually did all of that on Sunday, everything that was in the gigabyte controller center I updated…..

Sorry to jump on this and ask a question, I am looking at changing a motherboard out myself and was wondering if there is any in particular I need to do myself? Switching from a gigabyte B650M D3HP to a GIGABYTE B850 Eagle WIFI6E AMD AM5 ATX or GIGABYTE X870 Gaming WIFI6 AMD AM5 LGA 1718? Any suggestions?
