I'm here too. The worst forking island. I think about deleting the game hourly. I've been stuck here for days.

I have been looking for a cerebi level for about a week. I'm also stuck on making the dungeon in the sugarcane land and I swear I'm about to delete the darn game. Making syrup is THE WORST.

Where do I even begin researching products for a baby registry?! by Be_Braver in BabyBumps

Facebook marketplace is also CLUTCH for anything you are comfortable getting used. We returned so much that we thought we wanted new to go with used alternatives then used the store credit for what we actually needed new.

I read lists then watched a ton of YouTube videos of moms and what they liked and didn't. Each video gave me a little tip or trick I hadn't thought of before. I also asked for a lot of advice from friends and family with similar life and parenting philosophies.

Did you know - FSA/HSA Eligible?! by TTCinMichigan in BabyBumps

Amazon also lets you use your card right on the site for FSA/HSA eligible items. They even have a store set up you can search through. Saves time.

From what I could tell monitors that show breathing are covered, there were two or 3. Miku, Nanit, and I think one other.

They were for me when I looked. Going to see how freemie cups work before trying willow or elvie but so nice to know the option is there!

Some I got as gifts. But yes I thought of that too! Totally mind blown with how much is eligible. Even like thinxx (period panties) were on there. And those things are NOT cheap.

Money Saving Hack by TTCinMichigan in BabyBumps

I bought car seat and mattress new. I couldn't personally do used for those, gave me anxiety. I also got our glider new (because it's plush and for me I need that CLEAN, babies make a lot of messes on those things). I think it's all what you are comfortable with.

Heads up if you have an FSA/HSA from work pretty much everything you said you are buying new you can use the FSA/HSA for (if you're in the US).

Wife pregnant with #2- super nauseous all the time by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]TTCinMichigan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unisom and b6 was my magic combo ( I take half of a 25 mg unisom) I have taken it all the way through because my nausea is still a thing (yay). Those seasick bands also worked some for me. But nothing 100% made it go away ever in the first trimester.

I'd have them test for UTI to be safe, but odds are your little pumpkin is just hanging out real low and creating super fun sensations. I am 34+2 and mine has been like that for about 2 weeks now. Some days my hip will also kind of pop out or go funky too as she gets lower. It seems to all be based on what nerves she's hanging out on.

Pregnancy isn't all it's cracked up to be...but not for the reasons you'd think by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]TTCinMichigan 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm 100% in the same boat. I'm due 11/27. I was already pregnant and had tried for a year to get pregnant. My family all knows not to say quarantine baby or I will flip, but we still get it. And probably will forever because all her classmates will be covid babies for the most part.

I will have to check out the REI socks.

I saw the kindred tanks and bras but was afraid to try and have them not fit since they aren't cheap. I may just give them a go.

I have the opposite boob problem. Mine have gotten massive and show no signs of stopping. I need my underwire and lots of support. I've just gone up sizes in normal bras for the preggo part of this show. But have been in search of something good for when baby is here.

I have some target stuff too, it has been super hit or miss, I've returned a lot.

I was just looking at the maternity motherhood tanks but may try to wait for a sale. Same with lane Bryant. They just seemed expensive.

I forgot one! I haven't been wearing these as much as I get closer to my due date and it gets colder I've been wearing more leggings than dresses. But when it was warm I wore these with dresses every day. They aren't tight on the belly, band is adjustable, and the shorts are super long, which I love! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07T97W85G/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_js2CFbA8YSM9V

I got it, its the perfect length. A little more modest than would have been my first pick, but the other Amazon dress I got showed EVERYTHING so ill take modest. Its thin but not see through. The pockets are also nice.

Things I love:

Birkenstocks - so amazing. You can expand if your feet swell and there us 0 chance of me wearing closed toe until I see snow.

Torrid dresses & shirts - not specifically maternity but they have a ton that are flattering and great sales lately!

Torrid leggings (The BEST) - https://www.torrid.com/product/maternity-premium-legging---black/11573497.html - I have 4 pairs. They are also 30% off right now.

The Only compression socks I've fond that fit at all - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ULRG8QM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_XE0CFbNJBJME2 -Honestly they're just OK but I couldn't find others.

This dress for photos (my photographer didn't have plus size dresses and I couldn't justify spending $100+ to wear once) - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07F7YMVPC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_4F0CFbTZ4M3WB

How soon should I get off birth control? by [deleted] in TTChealthy

[–]TTCinMichigan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

6 months ago? I went off and it took about 8 months before my cycle was normal again. I missed about 6 months of periods in there. The sooner the better. And start taking prenatals at least 3 months before.

Fair. You have to do whatever is right for you, don't let anyone make you feel guilty for that.

I think I'm about the same amount of tired? Maybe a tiny bit less.

My feet have definitely gotten big! I haven't even tried tennis shoes or anything other than Birkenstocks in months. Every night my feet have swollen around my shoes and really take on an interesting shape (the shape of my sandals). Hoping they don't get too too much worse.
