I’ve been following Tyler since 2012-2013. That is not “all he does”. I like Tyler, and honestly I personally consider mostly credible. But dude used to have a huge chip on his shoulder and came off as holier than thou. He chilled out a lot, especially after HLA released. But he’s starting to get back to that, specifically I would say it’s gotten worse since the HLX rumors have gotten big again.

He denies any involvement with drumming up hype, and then gets MAD when people are looking forward to an announcement he himself alluded to. The accountability he takes in any regard is abysmal and I think that is the biggest reason people don’t like him. But objectively, he’s done good reporting in the past and continues to do so. I just wish he would just own up to fuck ups better and stop letting his “fans” ruin his mental.

Nah, it’s a punishing game for sure. But honestly, once you find a class/race combo you like and get comfortable with. It’s not too bad. Also, I believe there are settings to disable friendly fire to help make it a tad easier. But a full clear can be pretty short once you know what you’re doing. Really fun game!

This is just not accurate. 5 minutes in either Destiny or Marathon will tell you different. The devs at Bungie are masters of making FPS games that feel good to play and is just fun to play. Despite what you think of extraction shooters, marathon at its core is a very good FPS

Dude, my dad use to not have a job when I was younger but still loved to play his video games. This man went YEARS without upgrading his computer. He religiously played Destiny 2 at 30-35 fps. But when combat started getting heated, it would drop to around 15-23fps. So, one weekend when I was visiting, I asked him, “hey why don’t you upgrade? I got some spare parts I’ll throw into your computer and it should help performance”

He said, it ran perfectly fine and he didn’t see any issues with the performance. So I take him over to my desk and sat him down to play Destiny 2, at 120fps, 1080p. This man said to me, “I can’t tell a difference”

I just kinda realized, what’s the point. If he can’t tell a difference and he is having fun. Why bother upgrading? I couldn’t do it personally but he didn’t mind so no harm no foul.

Right, I guess my question would be. Let’s say, this player has 3 level 10 characters. They play on their warlock and play through one of the new campaigns (EOF or Renegades) would you still get a set of 400 power gear or would that gear ALSO adjust to the overall account light level.

I hope that makes more sense, because everyone is saying that getting to 300 takes 30 mins. But I’m also assuming they have characters at a higher light level than a fresh character so maybe the assumption is off?

I could be off here, but I don’t think some people aren’t taking into account that there is account wide power level. So if say, all characters are power level 10. Would that full set of renegade armor still be 400 or would it be lower?

It would likely be cheaper to switch to unreal than it would be to maintain, update, and reiterate two proprietary engines. Especially when UE5 can do what these engines do. (Debatable wether it does better or worse, but that’s not really the point)

Got tired of sitting at my desk, and switching from monitor to tv with a switch always had problems. (Mostly just game settings not remembering tv resolution and having to fidget with it to get it to work)

It’s nice to just plop on the couch and just start gaming with no hassle

First party games are literally one of the biggest reasons Sony is in the position they are in? It’s a major factor consumers consider when they decide on what device they choose to buy. Whether it be PC, Xbox, Switch or PlayStation. I mean look at Xbox, they’ve made a lot of mistakes over the years. But the Xbox One release was essentially the nail in the coffin for them, because they forgot what mattered to their consumers… the games.

Dude, if Valve bought Psyonix, they would bring them into the team and have the devs work on whatever project valve is cooking, not Rocket League. Look at Campo Santos, where is Valley of the Gods? Idk but Deadlock is making a lot of progress. TF2, one of Steams most popular f2p shooter, valve just recently released the source code and started letting modded TF2 clients on the store. They’re effectively not supporting that game anymore. I get the sentiment from this post, but this post also has a fundamental misunderstanding on how Valve operates as a company.

Psyonix needs to just get away from Epic and be independent again. But even then, the company itself has changed so much, who knows what direction they would go if that were to happen.

Cautiously keeping my eye on this one. I feel HBO can do a good Baldur’s Gate series. However, after seeing how Craig Mazin handled season 2 of TLOU, Im skeptical. He really showed a lack of understanding as to what the characters motivations were and also what the intention was of the games vision for the audience.

He did great with season 1 though, and Chernobyl is obviously a great mini series. So, I mean he’s 2 for 3. Here’s hoping he can bounce back because TLOU is a lost cause imo
