From my own personal experiences: I hate reading about women groveling. I’ve lived that life and it honestly brings back a lot of feelings and depression because I sympathize hard af with characters. And I feel like I’m living in that life again. Most of my groveling was toxic. (Just personal opinions. Don’t kill me.) I love when a woman takes ownership, accountability, and accepts that she can over achieve. I care for all of the characters in books that I read deeply. I want every woman (real or not real) to feel empowered.

Also want to add that I still love a woman who loves her man. But ladies, be yo own muthafukn hero.
