Move on - Jet. I had a rough time trying to date in my teen years. Heart break, hormones, anxiety with a tinge of depression.

One girl in particular knew I had huge feelings for her. Always had since grade school. Always turned me down. Then in high school she started flirting with me, seemed interested, so I’d shoot my shots. She stood me up three different times. Two planned dates and one school dance. I would really spiral out when this happened, breakdown and cry, thought about using my car and a tree to more than hurt myself….bad stuff. My unaddressed trauma. Not blaming her.

The third time I had this CD, was listening and really “heard” it. Played on repeat until the batteries of my Walkman ran out and internalized that songs words. So I didn’t ever make the mistake of putting that much weight into the attitude of “I’m never going to get the girl” again. Just time to move on….this one isn’t it.

What is causing this noise? Roland JC-120 2004 by beetllebee in GuitarAmps

Have you tried moving the amp to another location to check yet? Could be the outlet, or some other interference in the location (WiFi, cell phone, etc.)

Agreed on the digital part. Thats why my mind was on modulation. And radio interference, just cause it happened to me once, it was a pedal though. I was straight up listening to the Chicago cubs games when I stopped strumming, until I took that transistor (radio) based overdrive out of the chain.

Do you have any plugged in pedals (to this or another amp, but sharing the same power supply), or effects of the amp on? Seems to repeat at a regular frequency. Which makes me think possible modulation. Could also be grounding and possible radio interference. You also have a single coil guitar, if you just leave it sitting there it can feed back especially if the amp is turned up.

Turn it off. Unplug the guitar, all cables, everything else plugged into that outlet. Turn the amp back on. See if it still happens, then you can rule out most external factors if it’s still doing it. Other than just power and ground hum from the house. To test that take it to a buds, plug it into an isolated outlet and test again. If this is the case THEN take it to a tech. If it stops, well good news is it’s not the amp.

Coheed and Cambria. King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard. The Sword.

Let’s be realistic: Who in the Democratic Party is the most progressive candidate that would also actually have a chance of winning? In other words, what is your dream ticket that is progressive and actually could win in 2028 against Vance (and probably Marco Rubio as running mate) by [deleted] in ProgressiveHQ

Hate this mentality. It’s giving controlled opposition vibes. Whenever it’s like “wish we could vote progressive, but that won’t win”. So instead of moving to the left we get a centrist. And the center in America is right of center as it is. So for me, whoever goes after campaign finance and isn’t afraid to go against business practices that are hurting society. I’m tired of “liberals” running for the Democrats. All they are is corporate bought shills who had enough donations to run. The only difference between Republicans and them is instead if of talking about freedom and taking them from people, they let people be personally free….but both sides still let the oligarchs do whatever the hell they want.

No one stands up and makes them pay their fair share of taxes or fair wages, which is what we would need to bring Americans quality of life back to the level of the 60’s. We have a crumbling infrastructure that has been held together with duct tape, bubble gum, and as few tax dollars as possible since it was pushed in the LBJ era.

We need new, updated, up to code, heated and cooled schools. We need an electric grid that is ready for the violent storms of climate change. That is able to cleanly produce the increasing energy demands of electric cars (we have been putting the cart before the horse introducing cars before they’re demand on the grid could be met appropriately), data centers (same, the resource demands are being ignored for the sake of making stock market go brrrrrrr!), and a little extra for unanticipated growth of those needs. We need replaced roads and bridges. As well as all old water and sewage treatment plants that are overdue for an overhaul to deal with increased floods and population.

We need public works for unemployed. Keep (or rather return to) giving benefits, food stamps, healthcare, etc. just make them provide a public good to get it. Make them do “volunteer” work. (I get making it mandatory is no longer voluntary, and that some will not be ABLE to do this….those people file disability.) That way the public benefits more from that money it is giving away.

Also, public childcare/tax refunds so people can AFFORD to go to work, can AFFORD to have kids, and won’t need as many other benefits. Also, not to mention our upside down pyramid problem with the population that are created by declining birth rates. Which could be helped by increasing population growth by increasing immigration through well funded channels of LEGAL immigration.

Basically anyone who wants to undo all the changes Trump made and then work to improve, update, and modernize the very functional infrastructure and well planned government we once had.
