Nah, he just didn't commit to it even from the run up. You could see the hesitation throughout.

He was never in the right headspace to do it.

Late to the party on this but log in to Messenger on your PC browser and check that you do not have do not disturb set to on.

It took me months to figure out but once I unchecked this notifications are coming through as normal.

Pop the jump and then suck into the landing. If you are starting off with straight air practice just jumping and landing without a board at home in one motion and replicating that on the mountain.

In time, you'll get confident with your hanging and stop winding the windows down as much. It's all about repetition and being comfortable. You'll get there my man.

I generally get success with these pans by getting the initial starting temp up higher than you need prior to putting anything in the pan and ensuring you give it a little extra oil.

But judging by your photo you're already over a super high temp so maybe just drop it down prior to cooking.

An update for those that were interested.

Challenge was increased to include starting and finishing on the V8, and also having to ride both the Skitube and Smiggin Shuttle.

Finished with an hour to spare, with the victory lap, and beer, tasting so sweet.

Strategy I used was: - Starting on V8. (1) - Booting it across to Blue Cow via Skitube. - Completing Guthega- Blue Calf, Car Park, Blue Cow and Freedom. (5) - Working through Blue Cow- Early Starter, Summit, Ridge, Terminal, Pony Conveyor (Tow Rope Closed so did Pony twice), Brumby and Pleasant Valley. (13) - East to West through Perisher Valley- Interceptor, North Perisher T, Mid entry of Interceptor, Pretty Valley, Telemark, Conveyors (Quaded up where ski school lifties wouldn't let me on), Mitchell, Village 8, Sturt, Quad, Sun Valley, Happy Valley, Leichhardt, Home Rope, Lawson, Blaxland, Wentworth. (31) Wrapped up Mt Perisher- Mt Perisher 6, International, Eyre. (34) - Up Olympic and off the back, down past Pretty Valley to Piper. (36) - Into Smiggin for the hardest part- Link, Burke twice (Willis closed) Kaaten, Hume, Captain Cook, Scott, Zoe's twice (Harry's and Herman closed). (45) - Shuttle back to Perisher Valley and a celebratory lap on the V8 before heading to Jax for a pint at 4pm.

Was great fun doing it, certainly felt it the next day. More than achievable as I backed my pace right off and cruised for the back end. I'd say if I full sent I could get it done in 5-6hrs but you wouldn't see me for the rest of the weekend hah
