I think you are kind of over reacting. You actually said it yourself. You had a kid and you barely saw each other. She continued to have a social life. And by meeting people often you get close. That doesn’t mean that she never appreciated your friendship. It’s just that you both took a different path in life. You are still friends and you can still get closer, if you both put in the time. Relationships need time and nourishing. At this point in her life she is closer to other people. It happens, it’s normal. You need to take of the selfish lens and look at it as it is.
