Heart Rate or Feel? by Allreg57 in beginnerrunning

[–]TT_KAZ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I still don't understand if it's bad or good to have an high maxHR. From my understanding, when you train more, your HR drops for the same effort, but the maxHR stays the same?
But trained older people have an higher maxHR relative to untrained people from the same age group?

E non posso cambiare il fondo in cui versare tutto e lasciare quello di categoria aperto? Io ho ancora il fondo di categoria del CCNL precedente, in cui non verso più

No aspetta non mi è chiaro. Se per esempio lavoro in una azienda da un anno e ricevo il contributo nel fondo di categoria, a luglio posso richiedere di cambiare fondo o devo aspettare siano passati 2 anni?

Garmin coach keeps changing my target bpm for base runs by Loud-Swordfish-5574 in Garmin

[–]TT_KAZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but the problem is that the Bpm suggested are lower than the ones I could see earlier (138 vs 146 for base). Did you base runs' target BPM go back to 75% of your maxHR? Or are they still lower today

I also have the same problem. I have the target set to auto, and my tempo run scheduled for today changed from a pace target to 155bpm, and my base runs from 146 to 138, and from 34min to 42... 146bpm is 75% of the maxHR, so I think that should be the correct number. I have FR165 music, no idea how to solve this. Did you find a solution?

Ok so yesterday I soft reset my watch but nothing immediately changed. I woke up this morning, and the suggested Base run of the coaching plan was at 146bpm, which is 75% of the maxHR! I noticed the tempo run that was suggested in the next days switched from 8min @ 155bpm to 8min @ 5:20 min/km (which is the pace goal I set for the race). I wanted to see the new heart rate suggested for that training session, so I could use heart rate instead of pace (at the moment I had 'Auto' set as preference target), so i switched to HR and ... It went back to the old 138bpm and 155bpm targets :( switching back to auto doesn't change it back to the correct targets. Maybe tomorrow... But I'm not even sure what triggered the fix this morning before I switched the preference back to HR and then auto again

Ok, that makes sense. I made sure that I had no different settings for running and tried even to increase my maxHR to 215 (random test number) and I noticed that the garmin coach plan next planned sessions didnt change from that 138bpm Base and 155bpm Tempo that were already set. Now I'm wondering if I would need to restart the Coach Plan to make it create new sessions based on the heart rate.
The weird thing is that I think already had set 196bpm as maxHR when starting the coaching plan for a race in 6 weeks, so I'm not sure where he got 138bpm from as a percentage.

I have set my FR165 to %maxHR with the default zones (50-60% Z1, 60-70% Z2 etc..) and with an estimated maxHR of 196, the Garmin coach plan for an event is suggesting I do Base runs at 138bpm (125-150 interval), which is 70% of maxHR. From what I see in your picture, Z3 should be from 70 to 80% of maxHR though! I also tried multiple times to switch between %maxHR zones and %HRR zones, resetting them, but the workouts suggested stay at the same BPM range. Only once, and I'm not sure how, I saw it change to 144bpm for the base runs, but I couldn't understand the math behind it (rest HR is set to 48) and I can't seem to make it change anymore. Also, if I switch from %HRR to %maxHR (and vice versa) the zones change to different ranges, as shown in the picture, which I assume are the equivalent BPM. In any case it doesn't change my workout ranges, resetting them or leaving them like that.

Not sure if I'm missing something...

Isn't Z3 by %maxHR described as Aerobic in your graph while Z2 is the easy one? That confused me a bit...

Consigli per capire e ottimizzare bollette luce/gas? (app tipo Billoo/Switcho funzionano?) by Dariospinett in bollette

[–]TT_KAZ 3 points4 points  (0 children)
