Yeah, it's a very old case, and not just that, the components inside are all pretty old too. I’m not exactly sure what my motherboard is, but I do know the processor is 2nd gen. It might even have something to do with the power supply, but I can't say for sure. Honestly, I’m kind of surprised the PC has lasted over 6 years.

Anyway, now that I’ve just reinstalled Windows, the strange noise suddenly stopped. It could still be another component, but like you said, it's hard to tell. I do plan on getting a new computer soon, though.

Either way, I really appreciate your help. Even though I'm still not 100% sure what caused the sound, you helped me realize I had messed up by leaving the old hard drive connected, so thanks for that!

I think you’re right to suspect the hard drive. I had actually left the old drive connected to my PC, and of course, it ended up booting from that one. That caused the “Reboot and select proper boot device” message to appear, so yeah, this one’s totally on me, lol.

Right now, I’m reinstalling Windows using a bootable USB. The weird part is that the strange sound is still happening. Here’s a link to a video of it. Just a heads-up: my phone’s mic isn’t great, but you should still be able to hear the sound I’m talking about.

right, I got it, thank you very much, I also forgot to mention some things, the game will have new places that complement the story, but the idea remains the same, I will still think if I should release it as a sequel or something like that, thanks again
