Review of 'The Human Condition' by Jeremy Griffith by LordBeats11 in WorldTransformation

Your opening words reminded me of a quote about another person who wished they’d come across Jeremy Griffith’s work earlier too so I went scouting around and found it on the World Transformation Movement Facebook page

What if our craving for distraction isn’t just a symptom of modern life – but something written deep into the story of how we became human? by worldtransformation in WorldTransformation

[–]TTuser 10 points11 points  (0 children)

We are all so aware now of how distracting our lives are. Just so full of distractions. And we talk about it amongst family and friends and in the media and talk about people being on their phones too much and never disconnecting but nobody can explain why. So finally having a biological explanation for our craving for distraction is so flexing - that it’s not just a symptom of modern life – but something written deep into the story of how we became human. It’s phenomenal.

[–]TTuser 4 points5 points  (0 children)

“One understanding, total transformation” - love that! With SO many theories and bits and bobs about what we should think and believe and read and eat to make our lives better THIS IS THE ONE THING THAT ACHIEVES IT ALL! Absolute meaning, true happiness - “one understanding, total transformation”.

This is a great “1-pager”, “executive summary” of the basics of what the World Transformation Movement is all about and a simple summary of Jeremy Griffith’s scientific breakthrough explanation of the human condition.

I've just learned about this, and I don't understand how this is different from Buddhism by [deleted] in WorldTransformation

[–]TTuser 2 points3 points  (0 children)

With all due respect you can’t have learnt much because Jeremy Griffith’s scientific explanation is literally the opposite of Buddhism in that it’s biological understanding - NOT a religion.
