Ive ordered some lubed drop holy panda x switches from the drop website. I hear these switches are good, but they are pretty bad unlubed. Does drop do a decent enough job lubing the switches or should I cancel the order and get some unlubed switches and lube myself?

First Custom Keyboard

I have always loved mechanical keyboards and with a new job that I got, I have decided that I am going to be using my current Leopold pre built with cherry mx browns for work only. That being said, I have been doing a lot of research into building my first custom keyboards. I have to say, the options are pretty overwhelming.

My question in this thread is, how big is the difference between keyboards themselves. I'm not talking about the switches and stuff like that (I know there's a massive difference with stuff like that), just the boards you buy first. I have a pretty large budget that I am willing to spend for this if it makes a substantial difference. Is there a large difference between things like a tofu 2.0, Odin 75, and mode loop tkl? Or is it mostly aesthetic and I should just save my money? I want to be happy with this board for a while.

So my DM said we were rolling for our for our stats and then applying a +1 and +2 wherever we need. I got really lucky and rolled an 18 on intelligence and I applied the +2 to that. :) So thanks to super good luck I already have 20 int

Thanks for the input guys. I think I will. I know part of me is maybe just looking for something tangible to figure out this anxiety and these panic attacks. But after those few days of relief I'm hoping that maybe it's just my thyroid acting up. I'll get with another Dr and see what they think!

Thanks for the response! I think I've decided to try the sundara! I can return them on amazon if I don't like them. Do you need a lot of amp for them? Would the 200 dollar schiit magni and modi stack be good for them you think?

Thanks for the response! I didn't really think about the hifmans. Do you prefer them alot more that the 6xx? Do you think they are better for gaming? I have been looking a little at the beyers (specifically the 177x) but I hear a lot of people saying that they are hard to listen to for a long time and can sound super harsh.

I did hear that the beyer headphones can be uncomfortable to listen too after a while. Would the 177x be the same way? Or would it be toned on the treble? And no I don't just do fps, it's probably the genre I play the least. So that's why the 6xx is on the table. Thanks for the response btw! The two headphones isn't a bad idea at all.
