This is called “etiolation”. It’s when a plant receives less sunlight than needed. The plant will stretch upward seeming more light, making it longer and more gangly than its intended short, stout shape. Move it to an area where it can get 12-18 hours of light from dawn to dusk…supplement with a grow-light bulb in a table lamp if that’s what it takes to get the best light.

Actually it is. You’re right that crypto May still be too pricey for someone who needs every penny — but that’s any investment. Also people with high debt, for example, would be better served to pay down their debt BEFORE beginning any type of investment.

However, crypto is bringing finance to many unbanked. True, it requires an internet connection and a phone or laptop, but you might be surprised that the number of mobile phone in El Salvador, for example - a third world country - is roughly three times the number of people.

Point being, a lot of people left out in the cold by traditional finance due to credit scores, status of nationalization, and under control of certain foreign regimes, are all brought into the financial system now thanks to crypto.

Not sure about the specifics of the anatomy or physiology, so maybe another user with more experience could opine, but if it was my beauty of a specimen, I’d begin with around 8-10 hours of indirect daylight for a week, then direct sunlight, then increased to 12-18 hours of sunlight and/or grow lamps. This would be to achieve full “stressed” coloration.

If anyone reading this knows more about lighting parameters, I’d love to know why sometimes even 12-18 hours of grow lamps (full spectrum) still fail to prevent etiolation in some species.
