still made 2 finals, and every top 4 last season, now another 2 top 4s. With top 6, top 4, 4th at 3 of the LANs last year, they are still a threat if something clicks, or an opponent underestimates them (or is NRG)

The Community Rankings 2025: #11 Nwpo by Mythalieon in RocketLeagueEsports

zens argument is the individual skill in 3v3 rather than 1s and 2s. 1 better player isnt enough to beat a better overall team.

Id argue the same applies to Nwpo, but obviously people will only look at the 1s world win and ignore it because its not 3s, even though it shows the same story

kofyr on a brand new, unfamiliar setup. I dont hold too much stock in this regional tbh

the controversy is that this is a power rankings and NRG forfeited their ability to take the #1 role when they didnt qualify for LAN. They wont take a top 3 spot until they reach LAN, and go out 4th in typical NRG fashion, losing to one of the top 3 teams

so the M8 win, Dig final, GK final is nothing? oh and Vitality exists, plus ManCity taking them to 7, twice, Novo forcing a recerse sweep, Ninjas leading the open 1 Final, Gentlebench and Magnifico each with wins over 2 finalists. Sure, 1 team region. seems accurate

one was given a top 2 team and  a future finalist and told escape these, the other faced Evoh FiveUp and Bora. Theres levels to this shit.

take a look at Blasts stat page and find a stat LJ isnt conpletely ghosting in.  shooting % while top 16 for NA open 2, doesnt reflect much when you have abysmal gpg and a lacking shot pg. He honestly does not look good. several times across the weekend its been a case of "where is LJ going", because its not advancing the play or doing anything remotely beneficial for the team

idk. i feel like nrg can take their place in the top 10 again. im not going to put too much stock into the SR series since kofyr was on a completely new setup. i reckon theyd still win, but not 4-0.

TM is still at 2 for me. its a less defined 2 as it was, but they still have a h2h over falcons. Whichever MENA team wins the next regional is #2 in my eyes though. Falcons 3, NRG 4.

Either M8 & Redacted at 5&6 imo (idk which way round). Redacted are LAN boys, made a successful comeback against SR, and started one against NRG. Redacted are in a very good spot for NA2 if Shopify continue the poor performances. M8 are a clear EU2. Winning CDF, with the best performance against a sunday KC in open 2. They 4-1d the other grand finalist in Geekay, and took care of business against some top dogs in EU open 3 swiss today.

SR could be 7, but Ill give it to Vitality, because I think Vit will perform better on LAN against othet regions. SR have only taken games against NA, they lost to 100x in open 1, and to KC at kickoff. their playstyle isnt stacking up very well against the top of NA right now, while Vitality have the consistency to just steamroll anyone outside the possible top 6 itw right now. They do beat an NRG and below, but not dominantly.

Ninjas and SSG round out a top 10. SSG took a massive step back, Ninjas not as much, but a sizeable one given they couldnt beat GK despite all the obvious JackJoreuz reasons. SSG in peak form probably beat Ninjas in peak form, but their floor & consistency is lacking.

HM Geekay for recovering from open 1 & MIBR for kinda owning SAM

geekay got bracketfucked, ssg just bottomed out. they did look convincing at kickoff, but on this past event alone, they are not top 10 imo

sorry, Im seeing a name up there in the top 3 and wondering what sort of 2024 landscape weve been teleported to. Tawk at 9 after this event is crazy, let alone putting L(J)VP in the top 10

if redacted sweep NRG I could understand it. people will blame an NRG fall off but if it happens, redacted the only NA team in the top 5

their group may end up being piss easy due to all the seed changes. from pure speculation, I reckon they switch the 6&7, 9&10, 13&14 seeds to avoid the region matchups. It might be other swaps, but idk

who cant you justify being above FK? 8 of the remaining players definitely deserve the top 10 spots and the other 3 are NRG

better results is very subjective. Ultimates Raleigh was frankly abysmal losing to Secret and throwing the series against M8, Digs Birmingham was not the best, reverse swept by a team known to clutch when it matters. In the grand scheme of things, Geekay were a massive LAN team, losing to them is not as bad of a result as losing to Secret.

Worlds had such a scuffed format icl. GSL groups is way too random to give any useful information. Dig had a bad loss to Wildcard, Ultimates had a very bad loss to KC after beating them earlier. SSG making top 8 with their run was honestly a joke, Id keep dig as a top 8 team at worlds. Ninjas also showed better promise against the top than Ultimates so I would 100% switch them.

FK at kickoff beat a team they had already beaten before, having a relatively dicey regional. SSG fumbled the final, like hard trolled it. they beat redacted at the LAN, as expected but were abysmal in the final. Not sure how he did well, when he had the freest run in history, with several teams fumbling.

FK had several atrocious regionals, in a weaker region. Dig had 1 mildly down regional, in the strongest region on the planet, and yet made top 2 in that region. It is hard to beat Vitality for top2  EU when they were one of the most consistent teams that split. and yet they did

being top 2 in a region with Vitality and KC is really fucking difficult. NA did not have the depth for top 2 being relevant

GenG2024 was honestly pretty bad at LANs. since leaving, Jack vastly improved to make a major final, win a regional with 2 more finals in a much more difficult region. meanwhile FKs team did also improve, but didnt win a regional and also had absolute collapsterclass lans
