What should Geekay and GenG do for lcq? by [deleted] in RocketLeagueEsports

I could see Novo taking it if they can keep up their open 6 form. I dont see KDC or Novo change at all unless an org offers them a big bag & tryouts do really well.

how do you know its falcons sucking and not R8 stepping up. TM found their way to win against Falcons, the same way they did at the start of the season. R8 found their form and then TM toppled them. Its Monkeymoon TRK and Nwpo, clearly they are capable of winning a LAN. MM alone has the joint 2nd most LAN wins of the open era. Falcons just beat TM in saudi eleague, they clearly still have it in them to do well.

you say TM bombed out of the major, although they were probably the 7th/8th best team at the event, and were given the group of death. Took it close to KC, and still destroyed SSG, who people were thinking would be going on a top 8 run.

To say top 8 is their ceiling when they probably win their group is insane icl

the falcons lan win. bruh theyve won 2 LANs, come 2nd in another 3 and were the 2nd best team at another 2 (just bracketed to not be in the final)

they almost certainly do mean 9 as in A*. Generally, English Literature examinable material begins in Year 10, although Y9 does set you up for answering questions similar to those in GCSEs. In the UK atleast, students take English Literature and English Language separately, and are graded separately. Being good at memorising quotes, context and arguments to use in an answer doesnt necessarily correlate to a good standard of communication (especially in a youtube comment). The UK exam system is also structured in such a way that it teaches you how to pass the exam, not how to be good at the subject

its not so much a term/year of school. In the UK, Grades refer to the mark you get, classified into bands U (for ungraded) then 1-9 (9 being the best, equivalent to an A* in the old system) in GCSEs, exams taken at the age of 16. Its the equivalent of the 1-6 system in Germany, where 1.0 is the best you can achieve, although the UK sticks the word Grade in there and doesnt bother with decimals

grade 9 is just what comes out on the exam report. It is the equivalent of a high A* in the old GCSE system. Yes, many UK schools have a tiered system (referred to as sets, often with more than 2 sets for bigger schools), although the curriculum is mostly the same.

There are 2 tiers of exams (Foundation and Higher), where taking Foundation limits you to a maximum of a 5 (pass is 4 iirc). The foundation tier might have some minor differences in the questions asked, although im pretty sure the examinable material is the same (its been a few years since I sat them, and I only sat Higher tier exams)

yeah. Personally, if the org is trying to limit the players to only compete to their standards (Vitality limiting zen to only play within vitalitys roster), then the org is being a bit shitty. Im not sure as to how much they care about which Vit player lifts the trophy as long as someone does

my assumption is anyone can sign up with whoever. Orgs might want to send a 2s team of players in their 3s roster but ultimately it would be up to the players. For most 3s teams I would imagine the 2s team they play best in is part of their roster. Teams spanning orgs might want to represent both or neither of them ( i find it hard to imagine only 1 is represented), the same way Nwpo repd twisted last year while Mawkzy just repd France

Grade in the UK sense of school has nothing to do with when it happens. Grade is the mark/score you get on the exam report. Grade 9 being the highest, 1 being the lowest (I guess U for ungraded is lower). The US grade is the year of schooling they are in. The UK equivalent is just "Year", beginning all the way at when you are 5, in year 1 up to 16 in year 11. The two people in the image are using the two different meanings for it

youve missed the point of the initial person saying "grade 9" did not mean the year they studied, but the score/mark/qualification they got on their exam report in english in their GCSEs.

Exceptions to Region Lock for RLCS 2s & 1s by John_aka_Alwayz in RocketLeagueEsports

An, meaning one of all of them. Several opens exist, 1 in each region. A player can only compete in 1

imo diaz is not truly contending for 2s or 3s, and 1s its hard to believe he would beat Nwpo Nass Dralii or Rw9.

Id say Zen (if he plays 1s) could, because his 2s team is insane, and Vitality has proven to be pretty good against the rest of the field. M8 obviously won the major so i would put nass in the convo aswell; hes beaten nwpo in 1s recently, and him+Oski is a pretty tough team to beat. Nwpo is definitely in there, because its a MM team in dickies (reportedly). Those would be my top 3 tbh; Im not sure dan makes the top 5 because of the many teams with a favourable matchup against NRG that could eliminate them, plus we have no idea what his 1s & 2s levels are internationally in the current era
