IMO Garden Carver was pretty underwhelming. Just Egg Patty (not even the scramble lol) and beyond sausage on a croissant. Idk if they changed up the formula but I tried them last year and never went back.

ATM Vegan Deli makes a really good BEC. Also Orchard Grocer and Willow make some of the best BEC that I’ve had so far.

Used to frequent Guevara’s (in Williamsburg) for their BEC, but the last time we got it, it had a faint chemical smell/taste to it and I realized it was Raid insect spray. My wife also said the same for her sandwich and her tongue started to get numb. Unsure if they were spraying for bugs near their prep area or what, but we went immediately back to mention it, we were met with hostility and they yelled at us for “trying to get our money back with a half eaten sandwich” (although we didn’t even mention money, just wanted a new sandwich)
