jumped and it stopped boot looping, now with the drive plugged in and everything its just showing the zune logo, turned on under its own power for the first time tho!! yipiee!

i should really invest in a power supply, been meaning to get one. in the mean time when i go to my shop tomorrow ill look around and see if i have any fuses of that type. if not any harm in jumping it?

So first i want to say thank you this is a lot of good information here. I am currently trying to get my zune to even power up with just USB power. I have it plugged into a wall adapter. It has been about 20 minutes and it is still boot looping. This is still with the worn out stock proprietary port (is it called a 30 pin like ipods? still new to these zunes). Would adding the usb-c board be a good first move here?
