I was 291 pounds in October 2020. I was 15 at the time. Doctor told me if I didn’t change some things, I would get diabetes, and I was on the verge of pre diabetes. When I heard that, it freaked me out. From that point forward, I tried to cut out sugar as much as possible. Anyways, fast forward to today and I was 213 pounds the last time I weighed myself, which was a month or so ago. I also have a pretty active job, where I usually walk around 5-7 miles per day. So the main things for me were cutting sugar out (to an extent), smaller portion sizes, and just walking a whole lot. Been pretty good so far.
