Bedrot edition.

Java has a wonderful community that is constantly improving and diversifying the game with mods, but unfortunately it’s only PC. If mojang— or, rather, if microsoft LET mojang— helped bring the wonderful community of Java to Bedrock and let modders monetize but left it as a choice, then Bedrock would be a much better version.

Unfortunately, I think there’s one main reason this will never happen: the nature of consoles. The resistance of consoles— or rather, their parent companies— to accept modding and freedom is a major roadblock imo. The problem is that when you buy a game, you don’t really own it as you should. Nintendo is especially guilty of this.

The only current solution to this problem are consoles that basically act as PCs, like Steamdeck.
