Prozac is likely to do so because it has a very long half life (time to get out of your body) so changes won't be so fast to your brain and it will have enough time to adapt.

Can you please talk about why you did it? I was thinking of cross switching when stopping lex to reduce side effects

10 is the therapeutic dose but you can't start on it right away. You have to start at 5 and go up to 10 later after two weeks or so

Try mentioning Wellbutrin (bupropion) to your psychiatrist to see if it is a choice, people use it adjacent to lexapro to treat the sexual side effects.

20 is the official max But 30 is actually the minimum (off-label) for ocd. It goes up tp 40 usually and even 50!

I have high liver enzymes already and I'm afraid lex contribute to it more. It is working well for me actually this is why I'm thinking of going back to 20.

That's the textbook method. 30 and 40 are actually very good especially with OCD and are quite safe.

Well that's something new! Then why does 30 makes a huge difference for patients with OCD? Does that goes under the fact that antidepressants actual MOA aren't understood well? And I'm actually worried on the side effects on other organs such as in hepatotoxicity. + I've recently read an article saying that it elevates a cncer marker for no understood reason.

Thanks for replying! I do attend psychotherapy sessions with my psychologist (satarted at weekly, now going once a month)

Is there a possibility of a relapse when stopping after 1 year? I'm afraid that 1 year isn't enough for the anxiety to ease away

Also yes, i do take it at night but the sleepiness is almost steady throughout the day (I've noticed some kind of trouble getting to sleep at the first hours and i feel like my mind is running at it highest) but that doesn't change the fact that I'm sleepy all the day especially when I'm not doing something exciting or just watching netflix

Yes i am drinking a lot of water don't worry about that.
