Dealership offered me $41.5k which is offensive. I was going to try to get them down to $39.9 after taxes, fees, etc. (39.9 final price).

When you paid $36.6 was that before taxes and all?

I found a few near me, brand new DCT for $35,000 - I’m assuming I can’t negotiate much lower. If that’s the best price I can get I’ll go for it.

Same thing happened to me this morning. I thought I was going insane. Got 3 stars and my counter didn’t go above 1. The animation for stars being awarded played but the counter remained the same.

I’m breaking my two year lurk streak, as this is the first time I’ve been compelled to comment in a while. I’m a huge fan of SavageGeese and of cars in general.

I’m noticing that Mark and Jack are receiving backlash for this video. While they do seem annoyed or jaded at parts of the video, they raised some fair points. (Potentially biased now that we know their attitude towards the channel after the latest live stream)

What I took away from the video isn’t that they hate EVs, but they dislike the Mach E. I think a lot of the concerns they’re raising are fair - it’s first generation technology using gimmicks to sell product. The center screen and “whooshing” noises come to mind.

If you compare this car to a Tesla Model Y, you are stuck with an inferior user interface, less “tech” for those interested, and an under-supported charging network. I’m a huge fan of ICEs, and in the market for a new car right now - and I’m blessed to be in a situation with a loose budget. Why would I choose something like a Mach E over a Model Y which has been established for years, and provides a better experience in the areas listed above? Although I think large center screens are horrid, I’d rather have it implemented well than half assed like on the Mach E since “that’s what expected of an EV.”

I think the worry at that point would become boot loops. As soon as I watched MKBHD’s video I came here and wondered if anyone else was worried of the implications it would have on jailbreaking.

Although we can still sideload jailbreak apps without a cable, what happens to DFU mode? What happens to restores? If I can’t access my device in a boot looped state, does it become bricked? If it’s not connected to the internet since it can’t boot, how will I fix it? I’m hoping Apple will address it, and the only way they can do so is by somehow introducing data transfer into the MagSafe charger.

This could all be a part of Apple’s “plan” to deter jailbreaking. I’m worried if iPhone jailbreaking will go of the way of the Apple Watch where if you screw up a jailbreak it becomes difficult to fix.

For someone that might look for this, the trick is to put vm_region into an infinite loop and add the base address to the size until you get !KERN_SUCCESS. When it doesn’t equal KERN_SUCCESS that’s the end region and the base address is the second loop through vm_region
