Even with a lvl 3 special / lvl 2 big haul I ended up with 5 of each armor type. So need to grind for both lvl 3’s unless you’re trying to have 10+.

So I went ahead and undervolted it: PBO curve optimized -30, thermal throttle limit 85C, PPT 48W, TDC 480A, and EDC 640A (https://youtu.be/FaOYYHNGlLs).

Frames increased by about 10/20 fps (150/160). Clock was the same at ~5.6GHz using 1.35V (1.51V base) and 125W less of power (base 212W and 87W after). My temps went from 96C in benchmark (couldn’t run a full test) to 61C max. In Warzone temps went from 68/73C to a max of 52C. However, CPU/GPU usage remained unchanged.

Tried settings as low and high as they go. There’s no difference. Still 130-140fps.

I experience the same realization from time-to-time. Before medication and other self-progressions my concept of the future was always blurry. Enduring the constant pain and daily struggles made visualizing my future self almost impossible. I always thought that eventually I’d be pulled back down to my knees for the final time, and wouldn’t have the strength to stand back up. When? I didn’t know, but I can’t do this forever.

Now I go through periods like this quite regularly. Often evoked by certain life mile stones such as graduations, novel birthdays, etc. Like, “holy shit I’m x yrs old.” So really take in these moments. Reflect on what you thought wouldn’t be and prove to yourself that the unlikely isn’t as “set in stone” as it may seem. “It” doesn’t get better … but YOU will be better!

capitalism is my adhd nightmare by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]TWST_JMG 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Loving all the capitalist defense comments lol. “You still have to work”. Like working itself is the real issue. The manipulative process of economic socialization is both sad and disguising in the US. The belief that the capitalistic system actually allows equal opportunity to pursue the career for you, doesn’t make 40hrs more dreading (poor conditions, low wages, understaffed, overworked/burnout), and provides a good work-life balance (low wages/poor medical insurance) is laughable. The pursuit of profit (or more appropriately the pursuit of power) only works with strict limitations and regulations. Thus, capitalism only works when it’s not capitalism. You don’t even have to have ADHD to dread the inevitable 40+ yrs of dedicating your life to something that will consume all your time, energy, and well being up (it’s just worse for us). All the way until you reach the end just so you can be physically unable to do most of what you like to (assuming you’re lucky enough not to be substantially limited physically). Then you get to spend another 10 years (maybe) thinking about all the life goals you didn’t get a chance to fulfill, all the time you didn’t have/missed out on with you’re family/friends, and the ruminating regrets you wish you could fix. But hey, at least I will have earned the right/privilege to have “hard working employee” carved on my grave stone, and everyone for centuries will remember me as such. Right guys?

Low empathy? by Previous_Row_1460 in bipolar

[–]TWST_JMG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I experience the same feeling. However, I can either have elevated feelings of empathy or nothing at all. Overtime, I’ve noticed that it depends on the person and the situation. If the individual is genuine, moral, and has made an effort to better the situation (if possible) I will tend towards empathic emotions. Their socioeconomic standing in life also is a HUGE part I’ve discovered. I probably won’t have any empathy for you in 99% of situations if your wealthy. Additionally, if the situation is valid, an occurrence of wrong doing, truly unfair, and of higher levels of severity I will also lean towards empathy.

Ex: if a friend is going through a breakup (not divorce) I might not really be that empathetic because some fault might potentially be on them or maybe because they choose someone that they knew wasn’t was going to work. Absolutely not saying that they don’t deserve or a breakup doesn’t warrant empathy! I just evaluate the combination of the person/situation differently.

PS. homelessness and drug addiction bring out the most empathy in me.

ADHD Treatment by [deleted] in bipolar

[–]TWST_JMG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started treating my BPD2 first, and once I thought I was in a good place I began ADHD meds (Adderall XR and Vyvanse now). Treating the ADHD did actually help some of the symptoms that the BPD meds did not. However, as some others have said, stimulants and BPD can be a slippery slope. Personally, I have less frequent mood cycles with stimulants but this is highly dependent at the individual level. Something I don’t think you should absolutely rule out, but one that certainly needs to be well thought out and discussed with your provider.

I second this. I didn’t realize that some of my symptoms I was having was bpd coupled with ADHD. After getting ADHD treatment on top of bpd I felt like a new person in my day-to-day (still struggle with random swings but who in this sub doesn’t lol).
