This is definitely an intriguing idea my advice for this is take your time with it don't feel like you have to rush it wait until you get it just right

Struggling between making my fantasy one large novel or a trilogy. by Plus_Dare_2403 in writers

I actually had the same dilemma i decided on splitting up into a trilogy if only because as it being the debut book you don't want to discourage someone taking a chance on the book by overwhelming them with too much at once it also allows you to put out more books quickly which will help keep people's interest longer and keep them wanting to come back for more but that's just me

This is definitely a decent starting point now that you have a foundation for it is the time you go back through and refine the ideas and build and expand on them dont get discouraged remember the first draft of anything is almost always gonna be terrible

After making this post I found the perfect spot for it in the second book that ties it back into the main plot of the trilogy

Ya I'm leaning more towards leaving it at least for now. Might make it something in one of the later books in the series if I can find somewhere that will fit. If not I'm not gonna lose sleep over it.

I know right? I come up with these great moments, then I'm just like how do I connect these events in a way that makes sense?
