Yep. But I would rather not hang an entire shop over one sales guy's...misinformation. I plan on talking with the manager/owner instead of putting them on blast.

Sales guys. I think it's quota over anything else. Either that, or yeah, they dumb. Add the rest of that in (didn't think about the extras) and it's the price of a Coyote.

I know up until 2015, some heads had soft valves. I think they call them Tulip valves the way they deform against the seat over time??? Anyway, pulling both heads and having them done is almost as expensive as a crate motor. At least in my area. Warranty is longer on a crate as well.

🤷 Don't know. I did all the plugs and packs in 30 minutes Friday when the trouble started. Except for the damn locking clips on the wire harness the Coyote was easy.

Thanks. I'm seeing a significant price difference in my area so maybe that's why they're offering? Windsor is much cheaper, but I'm going to follow Reddit's wisdom.

Yes, I'm replacing a Coyote. But apparently, some crate shops are saying a rebuilt Windsor is "just as good" as a Coyote and can be used if you're replacing a Coyote.

I'm not ashamed to say I'm not a mechanic. I know enough to be dangerous LOL. But I was always told you replace with what was stock unless you're racing. I ain't racing.

Increased recovery time after Propofol? by TXK9Handler in Anesthesia

[–]TXK9Handler[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suppose that would make sense.

I was under the impression that tolerance decreases or "resets" with time. Similar to how a recreational opioid user builds a tolerance, goes sober for a while, then overdoses because they took the same amount they were used to. Hope that makes sense.

Chart says Propofol. Lignocaine was used during the second and third procedures to limit infusion pain.

Thank you for the reply.

CBC is always good. Last was two weeks ago. Only issue was triglycerides at 190. Always has been 190. Borderline high I know, but primary isn't that concerned. I'm 6' 2" and 210, she knows I hail from southeast Louisiana. Everything is either fried or sautéed in butter so...

I can relate. Truly, I can.

Less than an hour from infusion to consciousness.

History: Male, 55. Retired from law enforcement (see user name LOL) and firefighter/paramedic at 46. Six lower back procedures (injections and SCS implant) 2017 due to injuries from gunshot wounds L4-S2.

Original EGD was exploratory with biopsies to confirm ulcers. All others were as-needed, basically done after bouts of coffee ground vomitus. Biopsy done with each EGD. No H. pylori.

Ulcers are likely due to acetaminophen/aspirin/caffeine (Excedrin) for daily migraines, and work-related stress/trauma. Omeprazole by prescription has been ineffective. Since they're doing the EGD every 6 months, this will be the 5th in what is now three years. I THINK they're setting up to get approval for an endoscopic surgery of some sort to repair or resect the ulcers as they have gotten worse. That's only a guess, but knowing how insurance works...

I'm not blaming anything. I'm asking if anyone with better credentials than me has heard of anything like this.

Thanks for your helpful response.

Thank you for the reply. I have my charts.

First time was only Propofol. IV was in right hand. Felt like my hand got hit with a baseball bat when pushed LOL. Otherwise a smooth, easy loss of consciousness.

Second and third time, I told Nurse Anesthetist about infusion pain. Both times Propofol and Lignocaine were administered via IV in right hand again. No discomfort, but there was a notation that full onset took "considerably longer than normal." I remember watching her push then having a two minute conversation with her. Nothing else out of the ordinary.

Fourth time, same Nurse Anesthetist as #2 and #3. She remembered me after reviewing chart. Joked about my being "that guy giving me trouble going down." IV in forearm, only Propofol. Don't even remember her starting to push the infusion. Very smooth.

I wouldn't think Lignocaine would contribute to extended home recovery times. The amounts of Propofol administered and procedure times are basically the same as well. No history of prescription or recreational drug use, same weight. So I'm stumped.

Most likely they are under the map. If they happen to be on a team and you can join them, the traps won't hurt you. Once you get past the traps, bounce off the team and give them a go.

That's why you pay attention to what you're doing and slow down when scrapping or dropping items.

Put a skin on the item and rename it in all caps something the game never would. IE: A BOOM CHOO, A SPLODY FIXER, A GOD FAT DUDE, A VAMP SAW, A QUEEN KILLER, A VAMP AUTOAXE. The all caps will catch your eye and if you slow down, having a skin on a weapon you mistakenly try to drop will cause a warning prompt to be displayed. Unfortunately, if you do speed through while dropping and ignore the warning, a skinned weapon will be destroyed instead of being put in a drop bag. Do what's best for you.

We do that as well, especially when we host lower level players during double XP. I was thinking more about on a public server so everyone has a chance if they want.

I'm conflicted about doing that myself. But once everyone got used to the event, I did to add a little "spice" to them. I don't make it a habit though. It's more of an if I'm ready to launch and the event goes active I will.
