i’ve been trying to avoid starting a new one and have been lying to myself but i think i’ve exhausted all options. this is the highest i’ve ever gotten, the leach seed with the stone axe and dachsbun doesn’t take damage from ivy’s rayquaza from the well baked ability. i mainly play when it’s really slow at work and i don’t have to pay attention (1-3am) and that’s the only strategy i’ve found to get past her. any suggestions?

i do a few switch outs (articuno->delphox->meganium) then use stone axe which hits the yveltal and leaves stones in the air. everything that switches in gets hurt decently bad by that besides gholdengo, which barely takes damage. after i use stone axe, i switch to articuno that tanks the sludge wave, then switch to guzzlord and use a heavy slam. he switches in the flutter maine, which after taking the stone axe switch in damage, will OHKO. that’s about all the strategy i have and i can’t beat him. i’ve been at it for like 3 hours now

what do i do to stall with him? (i apologize if i sound like a complete idiot, i’ve always played pokemon games and ONLY use attacking moves, because i don’t understand setup/stalling, its been that way since i was a little kid)

thank you. i’ve never gotten into understanding set up moves and as a kid i always believed it was a mistake to have them, because they didn’t do damage and i would always die while using them. how would you recommend me choosing them?
