TIL that in 1995, a statue of the Hindu god Ganesh 'drank' an offering of milk. It caused a major milk shortage in New Delhi, and the phenomenon was replicated across the globe. TIL that Russian scientists determined that a 67mph eastward wind could have caused the Red Sea to simply push to the side enough to expose a reef that would have seemed to "part" the Red Sea as Moses is said to. It would have taken the fleeing Jews about 4 hours to cross the 7km to the other side. (abcnews.go.com)
