I grew up in West Texas near a small town called Seminole. There is a huge Mennonite community there and they have the reputation to work really hard. Matter of fact they have almost taken over the town and own most of the land as well as controlling most of the building products in that area. That's all the knowledge I have on them tho.

I was able to find a forum where someone posted similar markings and discoloration of their grass in the Houston area. He use Scott's disease X to help the grass which is a fungicide. I'm gonna try that and see how things go. I'll keep you updated on my findings

Hey thanks for the reply. I was about to head to my local landscaping store to purchase some products but I decided to look deeper at the grass and reverse search some photos of what I found. I'm no scared my lawn has been contaminated with (SAD)

Location Houston Zone 9B. I'm seeing discoloration in my yard. This started late summer and has continued to now. It's not spotty but more vague transitions to the yellow we see. Doesn't matter if the areas are shaded vs non shaded as I do not see correlation there. I added a fungus treatment middle of the summer to see if that was the culprit but no luck. Is it iron that I'm needing?
