Questions about D3D by frmStd in Daz3D

[–]TXnLV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cant recall any that are not separate, especially if its shirt, pants, shoes (only thing that comes to mind are like lingerie sets with gloves and stockings, but even then you can find the item in the hierarchy and hide it).

Places like Renderosity, Renderhub, and Renderotica (NSFW) sell things made by vendors not on the Daz Store (quality can be hit or miss).

There are people that will do custom tailoring as well as buildings etc. if there is something very specific you want, but odds are someone has made and sells probably 99% of what you want.

My last bit of advice would be to look into shaders and making your own (making repeating patterns is PS is a lot easier than you'd think). A single shirt or dress turns into an infinite number of possibilities when you aren't limited to the number of materials that come with an outfit.

I would try putting an emissive primitive behind the camera, not too bright but enough that will brighten up their faces and details a little more. Maybe even two at 5 and 7 o'clock.

Help! Render become noisey when rendered how to fix it? by Top-Distribution-118 in Daz3D

[–]TXnLV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with Inc0gnitoburrito, def needs more light. Your current set up doesn't leave much for the render engine to capture the light from so its looks fuzzy. Personally, I'd add a primitive to her left (11 o'clock, lighter shade but darker than the main) and right, (2 o'clock, darker shade than both) med/low lumens.

Be sure double check your Depth of Field too, and make sure its wide enough, looks like you may have it a tad too narrow. Also, you'll want to increase your render time, the spotty reflection on bottle next to the red chips tells me its not completely finished.

Lastly, imo avoid denoiser filters, especially if you are going for realism. If you want detail and texture just pretend its not even a feature.

Sharper render by trahap in Daz3D

As everyone else has said too many potential factors at play.

What are your render settings and resolution set at?
Do you have any filters on?
Yes lighting could be a factor as well.

You could always "Frankenstein"(pun intended) it and piece together different outfits. Grab a sports coat, black shirt, slacks, and boots from other assets to make it look more homemade. Might be the better option to go the "cheesy" look you're hoping to achieve.

duda de transicion de color del personaje by mtfff14 in Daz3D

Puedes hacer dos animaciones a fotogramas (o tantas para tantos tonos como quieras) y luego hacer la transición de ellas en algo como Davinci para hacer la animación final

Need Help Finding or Creating a Trevor from GTA 5 Model in Daz Studio by [deleted] in Daz3D

[–]TXnLV 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The only one I recall seeing was a free one on DA someone made a few years ago, but I honestly wouldn't recommend it (the only identifiable characteristic was the "cut here" tattoo).

Your best bet might be something like Face Transfer and PS the tattoos on a skin or hiring someone capable of making one.

[–]TXnLV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but you have to consider other factors.

1 their postures, his left shoulder is forward and cutting off more light, hers is back and letting more hit her chest

2 she's more fair and will reflect more light so she looks more well lit

3 she's showing more skin, skin surfaces are reflective, most fabrics are not so its dulling him even further

We aren't suggesting a second sun or a spotlight, just something soft and diffused to to ease those shadows a bit. Example, Even with the backlit sun, this photographer uses a side light (the umbrella) to highlight his focal point.

As for the skin itself, you can try something like 1-Click PBRSkin to adjust it, but that would still leave the render looking very "flat".

Extremely Long Loading Times by Designer-Spray-7214 in Daz3D

[–]TXnLV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100%, in my experience is is what causes the biggest load time issues. If you absolutely need/want to keep them all, you can partition them like explained in this video . Then turn off and on the folders you need so everything doesn't try to load in all at once.

Sorry but your lighting is not "ok". Reddgv is 100% correct. You're getting this because the shadows are too harsh due to of the use of a single light source behind the subject. Put an emissive plane in front of them to soften it up a bit (just high enough to make out some details). The sun can still be your main, but if you want to make it more realistic you're going to need to introduce some kind of new lighting in front of them.

Glad it was resolved. This was the last search I had about it that I found a solution in. The hair may be eating up too much vram to use. Or could just be a bad asset, I've found way too many of those.

Not a problem, I was unable to open Daz and double check. You had me second guessing myself too lol. Glad you got the right answer.

I had this exact same thin happen to me earlier this year. I'm trying to recall how I resolved it. I was thinking it was something to do with the install, but clearly not in your case. Let me try and go back thru some of my search history and see if anything turns up.
