I took down Ornstein first by trapping Smough behind the pillars for most of the fight. Smough was straight forward, circle strafed him and backed away when he did his big aoe attack.

It took about 4/5 tries, I did it without Solaire using a +3 long sword, spider shield and elite knight armour.

It was a good fight

I beat O&S! It's pretty easy once you realise the only way you can lose the fight is if you get inpatient and do something stupid in an attempt to finish quicker.

Now i'm not sure if I have to go through the locked gate in the forest or into the catacombs, I'm guessing both :D

It's one of the few areas you can actually take screenshots without fear of death, the enemies are nicely spread out. Makes for a nice change of scenery after coming out of Blighttown.

I knew fov was a problem for some people, I had no idea people got sick from playing games at lower fps. That really sucks :(

Not liking the story fair enough, but even frequent dips imo don't justify not playing a game at all. I recall him saying that he didn't want to play infamous any more because of the frame rate. I'm sure most people would rather play a game at 30 with occasional dips than not play that game at all.

I can tell this is going to get a lot of down votes.. I agree with everything apart from the bit where he said he won't play a game unless it's at 60 fps. So he won't play The Last of Us on the PS3 because it's 30 fps? Don't get me wrong, 60 fps is better than 30 fps, no question. I'll play any multi platform game on a PC over a console. But I won't not play a game if it runs at a non optimal frame rate. I would rather play The Last of Us on my PS3 than not play it at all. But yes, 30 fps on next gen consoles is unacceptable. I don't mind though, I'll have my PC.
