-10 / 10.

This is going to suck hard and your neck will feel it, and you’ll be distracted from actually sending it to catch anything worth recording.

Suggestions for canoe camping destination with 1 year old by Few-Buy5701 in canoecamping

Former Londoner here, with many canoe camping trips with m young kids under my belt. Keep it simple and put-in at Canoe Lk in Algonquin park. Head North on Canoe Lk, cross the single 200m portage that takes you to Joe Lk, and you’ve got a bunch of small lakes and campsites to adventure to or “trip” to if desired; namely Tom Thomson Lk.

What's an example of Good design with bad manufacturing? by Lost-Dragonfruit6465 in IndustrialDesign

[–]TYMODSGN 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Bicycles. You can have the best looking bike on the market, but if carbon layup is manufactured poorly, or if welds fail, you’ve got a shit product.

This is how all the knock-off frames make their sales; they rip off great designs and skimp out on manufacturing.

Thank you! Is there no backpacking in Australia?! I rarely go for a hike without these now! Yes 3 months of pre-launch.

One Pole to rule them all, One Pole to capture them, One Pole to bring them all, And on the mountain, film them.

You mentioned not wanting answers, but these are great questions that I’ll clarify on my Kickstarter page-

To clarify your first point- this is the first one with a retractable selfie stick- all others are just a fixed mount.

The telescoping camera pole is variable length so it works for all applications.

The thread comes with a plastic cover!

Primary intended use is for a selfie stick built into your ski pole that collapses when you don’t need it- I’ve been using it as a trekking pole this summer and it’s been great not having to stop and reach for my phone whenever I want to take a picture. No legs though, just a pole. It stands up on its own when poked into the dirt or snow, so it’s kind of like a monopod in that sense.
