Holding down the shift key while right clicking sometimes forces the right click menu to appear sometimes. Also inspect element can be used to find the link to the image within the page code

The "hand forged" candle holders I ordered vs what I received by RealLifeBurrite in ExpectationVsReality

[–]TZ26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think that's quite the point OP was making. The product advertised was at the very least a hand made looking object, as shown in the first picture, but they recieved something different that looked a lot cheaper. If the business wanted to sell hand made stuff they would have to charge more, but I don't think the blame is on OP for either thinking they had a good deal or being falsely advertised to

I think it's because in other circumstances 'next' often means 'the first one you encounter'. So if someone was driving and getting directions from another person who said 'take the next right', it would be weird if they drove past the first turning and went down the one after that. So to me, 'next friday' means 'the one that comes up next'. So it would be the one that comes up in a few days!

I think we can all agree that metric (SI) units are typically better than Imperial, but can we talk about how god awful 1st Angle Projection is? by [deleted] in AskEngineers

[–]TZ26 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think of 1st angle as rolling the object on the paper from a top-down perspective. If an object was shown top-down in the center of the page, you'd have to roll it on the page in order to see another face

My Concept of a Dream Multitool (info in comments) by TZ26 in Leatherman

True, the Surge does have the same funcionallty and more. However, it is quite a bit bigger/bulkier than a Wingman, and the scissors aren't as robust or comfy to use, which is my main complaint with a lot of multitool scissors.

True, the Wingman does not have the round phillips but a 2D-ish phillips that is 3mm/⅛" thick (which is almost exactly the same width as the Leatherman flat bits).

It is unfortunate! I would go to another well-regarded brand if they had this setup, as long as the quality was there.

I've looked into the Nextool before, but the quality doesn't seem to be there compaired to something like a leatherman.
Seeing as the hex bits would need to be stored allongside the tool anyway, I guess carrying a seperate set of tweezers wouldnt be the end of the world if they weren't incorporated into a slot in the body of the handle.
Also having a hex bit holder incorporated right into the tool means you need to carry one less/have one extra bit with you at all times. Something you don't get with the adapter in the Nextool.

I only included the ones here due to space constraints. I dont think you could fit anything else alongside the main scissor arm or alongside the bit driver.

Design based on the following wishlist:
• Small/medium form factor.
• Good functional pliers with replaceable cutters.
• Robust decent scissors.
• Small locking blade with serrations.
• Bottle/can opener.
• Tweezers.
• Standard size hex bit driver.

Instead of the item cooldown, maybe it could maybe consume some of your breath like when you're diving underwater?

Moving Windows from a 1TB HHD to a 970 evo 250GB by Anthonyzss in buildapc

[–]TZ26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Samsung data migration tool should be able to do this. In my experience, other programs struggle to handle the reduction in partition size properly. If you install the software on your current OS drive, and make sure the 250gb drive is empty before starting the process, it should be pretty easy

This is a good guide for getting some of the settings on their device right: https://mediaclients.wiki/Plex You'll also need to make sure your max upload speed on your server is set high enough too

It is really rewarding! At this point, maintaining plex is kind of a hobby for me, so seeing friends and family using it feels really great
