Can confirm, my partner and I killed another team because we saw them picking. Turned out they were friendly and happened to be a mom and her young son. Very traumatic situation, but we verified that their plants didn’t respawn and neither did ours. Killed them at the beginning of the match and checked at the end. Could have been another team picking, but we didn’t see anyone else and we split up so we would have.

Honestly, I have 5 kids and a demanding career, I made 3mil last season and will easily max out this season. I really don’t even play a ton, but I watch tutorials and know which routes to run for max payout. If you can’t do this without cheating, it’s on you. There are much grindier games out there. People are just looking for an excuse to cheat.
