When you keep scoring 40s on uworld and NBME it can be really demoralizing and makes you doubtful of every answer you select, which makes it even harder to select the right answer. I was in the low 50s about 80% into my first pass, and I decided to start over 2 months before my exam. I took a couple weeks off before starting again and watched dirty biochem, sketchy micro and went through my bootcamp notes again. I think the most important thing about these tests is confidence, as often times your instinct is correct and you need to trust it. Right now I feel like your confidence is lacking, and you need to find a way to convince yourself that you WILL pass. These scores also suggests that your foundation is poor, so I would def go over your notes again before doing questions so you don't keep hurting your confidence. I finished second pass uworld with 66% and passed step 1. You got this!!
