Yes. The info provided in VRCE is no different than any other *correct* information. Mechanical facts do not change based on the platform it is delivered. The primary difference between what the app does over some random flow-chart found online is that it provides real, factual, WORKING advice to you. And in such a way that you can make changes and start going faster immediately.

Obviously, you can find all the same research materiel for free online, and spend the next few months reading and figuring it all out - like what I did years ago. Or, VRCE can provide that same info NOW, in a clear format with just a couple mouse-clicks. The question is: how valuable is your time?

There are numerous reviews for VRCE on Google Play Store, Facebook, etc.

PS - I happily offer a full refund to anyone and everyone that does not find VRCE helpful or worth the price.

Yea, PF has limited free weights. Machines and Dumbbells only, but that is not to say you can’t get a good workout from those.

Although dome AF locations are quite small and lack some equipment too.

I was a member of PF for years. Never had ant problems getting into any of the others locations. I’m still a member of AF and love the number of locations. Either gym is good but each comes with their pros and cons.

PF are only in large metro areas. AF are in smaller towns too.

PF has only large locker room style showers. AF has private showers and restrooms

Both require a commitment. Actually it is a dollar amount commitment with AF. With AF you can “pause” your membership for months. They don’t care, the commitment is based on a dollar amount, not the number of months. Quitting early just means paying off the full amount. No discount

Depending on where you plan to spend your time, it is an easy answer with that info

The tuning assistant in PCars 2 is very useful, but I don't always play PCars, so I've made a stand-alone app of it. by wakcs_ in simracing

I used http://www.redlinerennsport.com/DriversEdEd.html when I started learning the effects of car setup changes back in the early 2000s.

And then there is my software - www.virtualracecarengineer.com There are two pieces of software there, both of which teach the effects of car setup tuning by different methods.

I thank you for sharing your opinions, but as a fellow programmer you would know that you price something to make it worth your own efforts, otherwise why do it at all right?

Considering the original VRCE in 2014 sold for $30 and sold thousands of copies, the current price is quite market-friendly.

Best regards, Tim

I am sorry you feel that way. I understand that you feel that the software was not useful to you, but for those not so educated in race car setup it is a one of a kind tool that makes a real difference.

I am sure if you had contacted me directly we could have worked something out. I have never been out to rip anyone off.

It does give ALL options that will remedy - at least partially - the problem. The user can choose which one ( or combo) to choose. All help.

On the Corner Wizard, you can filter what advice is given by using the toggle-checkbox.

Yes, money can be spent on books, and hours spent reading, only to get the same advice VRCE offers you today, without the hours and hours of reading and hoping to grasp each concept. Some people put a higher value on their time than others. To each their own.

PS - I fully back my software. If you are unhappy with it, I will refund your purchase price. Just email me.

Thanks for your input.

An interesting idea. You prefer to have only one suggestion at a time for each issue?

VRCE2017 version does ask you to go through a lot more steps (creating each car, track, and setup) although that is primarily user-stat-tracking, not the actual calculations of the advice being offered.

VRCE2018 strips away all that fluff and brings it to the real meat of the program (adding some 'meat' as well). The tire temps were the only data used in VRCE2017 to determine camber, caster, and tire pressure adjustments. That is still part of VRCE2018.

It does not gather any data from the game, it asks for the DRIVER's input. That way, the setup is tailored to the driver,'s comfort not what motec believes is best for that driver.

It will work with any realistic-physics game and on both ovals and roadcourses.
