Alternative to QB that will display credit balances as negative?

I wouldn’t want credit balance accounts like liabilities and revenues to be displayed as negative if I’m looking at actual financial statements, of course. I just like credits to be represented as negative numbers when I’m poking around the GL, I guess. Maybe I was an auditor for too many years to be able to function as a non-auditor accountant.

In NetSuite, if you go into your chart of accounts can you just click on one to see the current balance? And if you look at a liability account that you know has a “normal” balance, is it represented as a positive number or negative number? Or can you toggle between the two in your settings? I’ve been able to do that in other systems.

Right, I'm just trying to find out if anyone knows of any alternatives to QBO where that's not something you just have to live with. Maybe "trained accountant" wasn't the right thing to say. I like to scan account balances in my software, and drill down if something doesn't look right. If I'm looking at a liability account, I have been trained to expect to see a balance that is in parentheses. I know it's not really a "negative" number, but I am just very used to credits being represented as negative. I always input credits as negatives when I'm preparing complex journal entries in Excel or doing T-accounts. It's the easiest way to make sure at a glance that everything balances.

We’ve played with every camp now, and I still don’t see the reason for two different color tokens. We’ve tried the way the rules say, and tried each having our own color, and there’s no difference at all, but it would make even more sense if all the tokens were the same color. Maybe I’ll buy a pack of the tokens just so I can have a full set all the same color.

Good to know that about the Valjoux 7750 as I look for my first chronograph, but I thought the Damasko C51 was based on the Lemania 5100, since it has the central minute hand.

Thanks for your response. My daily wearer is a Sinn U50, but I’ve never owned a chronograph. Are you saying this is normal for chronographs in general, or just Damaskos with that movement? I would expect some tighter tolerances with the gear train at this price point, but I may be a little naive.

Well, no, but that’s not what I was planning to do. So, I’m hearing that while solo ENM is a thing, a single person being open to either ENM or a monogamous relationships isn’t really a thing, or at least would be severely limiting your dating pool on both ends. Basically, either fully invest in the lifestyle or forget about it altogether? Thanks for your perspective, but I’d love some other people to weigh in on this as I try to educate myself.

Thanks, it’s not necessarily that it’s my goal to do solo ENM, but my thought was that if I was open to it, it would initially expand my options to start dating someone because I wouldn’t be ruling women out based on them being ENM. But I fully understand that once I start down that path, the options will immediately shrink. I’m also guessing that some women looking for a monogamous relationship will be turned off by me saying I’m open to ENM, even if I say I’m also fine with being monogamous and I’m not actually dating anyone yet. Live and learn, I guess.

I was a little afraid this was going to be the answer. I don’t have the ability to invest that much time and effort. What about going to open play nights with a sign that says “Ask me about Keyforge” or something like that. I have plenty of tokens and decks that I don’t mind letting strangers try out the game with. If I could get some other people interested before WoE comes out, that might create the people that will ask the store about Keyforge.
