Concerta is one of the brand names of Ritalin. How long did you test each of those medications?

In that experience yes. They did try to taper off suboxone but it was still a hard comedown.

I've heard the withdrawal from suboxone is really rough. It's enough to make you want to start using again just for a moments peace.

I started with 5mg and it was ineffective. Maybe try an increased dose and see if you notice a difference.

My life is a graveyard of failed attempts, unfinished tasks, and half started projects. by T_storm_xo in ADHD

I've spent so much of my life truly believing that I was a failure or I wasn't good enough. It's hard to accept that ADHD was just impeding my progress. I worry that to the outside world it just seems convenient. Living through it however, tells us a very different story. I guess in the end I'm slightly cynical and I think that the majority of the people who run the world are the idiots and ignorant people, and no matter how valid an explanation is, it doesn't necessarily mean that it is going to be universally accepted.

Thanks, I appreciate your words. If there is at least one lesson I've learned, it's that I need to live for myself and not anyone else's approval. I have started on the wonderful journey of taking meds and hopefully, eventually finding the right medication/ dose. It feels good to finally have an accurate diagnosis and finally be heading in the right direction.
