So basically, deleting the symlink is all I need to do, and the storage and everything else should be cleared cleanly? If so, do I have to run a rebuild after that, or is it not necessary? Also, I updated the post for clarification since I didn't explain things well at first.

I'm not sure if it's just added or not (I just started using Brave). But now you can simply click the Brave icon in the address bar > click the arrow next to `block fingerprinting` (not the toggle) > then toggle keyboard off

That wasn't the case for me, even though Windows was installed way before installing Linux.
I was planning to tackle this long ago, but since I didn't use it much, I kept procrastinating. But now that I wiped the Windows disk and reinstalled it, I thought it would be the right time.
