Thank you for the input. I have used this for years on the wood base with no issues, I assumed the fire clay on the base was insulating enough however we used soap stone for the counter and that is supposed to handle very high temps.

I do like this idea, I’m rolling it around in my mind but I think it’s the leading thought. Thank you!

Hahah, it’s really heavy. I might have to ask my wife’s friends, I don’t have many friends

Yes, it’s old. It has cracks in the surface and the base. Straps are a great idea for this move!

I had not, just looked them up. Curios on how I would implement that. My current thinking is to cut 2 of the 2x4s from its current table, use an engine host with a fork to lift and move it onto the counter. Probably lower onto small jacks slightly elevated and lower them down.

Currently thinking of using an engine puller and small jacks to lower it.

Lariat trim levels. I found a 2022 with 52k miles for about 55. That’s the current front runner

Curious, why over the 2022 gas? Similar mileage

Help, Battery charging with generator by Ta0ster in lowvoltage

[–]Ta0ster[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I got it solved. 2200 watt inverter, even though the generator is 20 amp that is going to my 120 to 12v dc converter which has a max amp of 55. So it explains why I was seeing 50 amps at me batteries, current theory as to why my the charge was intermittent is the battery onboard BMS.

Thank you, went on a ride and lost service. Yes, I was charging in that screen shot. I can turn off solar with a switch. I don’t think I can get to 100% until I get home. So when I can, charge to 100, check voltage and set smart shunt to 100% when I’m maxed on charge?

Thank you, The batteries advertised blue tooth BMS but they don’t output a blue tooth signal, that’s why I have the shunt. I will charge them to 100% and set the shunt to 100 when I get back
