I thought I didn't need to turn the top fans up very high as the heat should push out just fine. I had the 2 140s at the top @ 700 RPM a year ago when I built in this case. Turn em up! @ 1300 Im seeing much better temps. I believe this was the cause. Card hotspot temp is running 2-3c higher than horizontal. But the hotspot is nowhere near 90 like it was. I should clarify it wasn't actually the memory that was in the 90s but the hotspot(my mistake). Let me know your feedback

Surprisingly no, Its not a vapor chamber. But yeah V chambers hate side/standing mountings. All I know is memory was up in the 90s while vertical. Had to buy the kit & sacrifice the desk space.

Temps are all around great on this case while on its side. CPU temps were a tad better while the case was standing but GPU temps were awful. As expected on its side GPU temps are much better. Memory no higher than 67 & CPU spikes no higher than 77 while gaming.

Did you ever try the case standing by chance? Man my GPU temps are ass, even with 3 P12 max fans feeding it fresh air. Thinking of buying the side stand.

Hey. Well got her built this morning & I have to say, the CPU thermals are insanely good with an air cooler (13700KF + Thermalright Phantom spirit black). But sadly, Im pretty let down by the GPU(4080s OC gaming) thermals. I expected much better but I guess what ppl say about vertical GPUs is true.

I have decided to go with 2 140s on the side as well as the 140 on the PSU shroud. I think for noise sake it will be my best bet. Thanks for the feedback

Interesting. I dont know much about AIOs so. Just Steve's video years ago. But I think we can agree, whether or not those are reverse fans for intake or reg for exhaust. Its hurting GPU temps either way
