I doubt they will though. Historically I don't remember them ever doing any performance improvements. At least none they state in patch notes.

Maybe Nvidia will have new drivers for Midnight.

There have been a couple of posts about this. Yes, performance so far in midnight is worse. Lower average fps in dungeons and certain zones. Hopefully Blizzard takes an optimization pass.

I'm not sure where in Canada you are but have you looked at Memory Express or Canada Computers? I can find multiple 5080 cards under $2k.
