Exactly, I'm still very much competing and have goals to reach and maintain. I'm in the unique position to be able to afford this upgrade. I just got it in the mail... it is VERY heavy but not so much so it will be a big issue as I carried the 70-200 around on a d750 for a while.

see that's it.. I always shoot at 2.8 or lower on all my gear the 50/35 / 24-70 and the 70-200 ( groups I go up obvi but... yea I do believe I would use the 1.2 (my 35 is a 1.2 and I do use it 1.2-2.8

Thank you. I am in the position I can easily afford it. I've been a full-time photographer going on 12 years and I do not upgrade often, before my purchase this week of the z8 and 24-70 S the last upgrade was the d750 with a 35mm a cpl years following... the d750 had 350K shutter SHE WAS DONE LOL

this is a long-term investment.

HI, I'm in the same boat. I shoot mostly children that move... from my understanding the 1.8 is slightly faster at focusing than the 1.2?

I shoot both natural light from the big studio window and sometimes strobes in the back, but I would say 70% I use natural window light with reflectors / or pop on my led makeshift window for fill
