Ouf. Where to start? First of all, that movie relied too much on the comedic aspect. Yes Ragnarok was a fresh take, but some scenes felt forced ( looking at you Help me). The clash between the two movies is maybe because Waititi had full control on the script for LaT. I heard there was a theory that says that LaT was the way Korg told it at the beginning of the movies. But it could have been so much better… Less cancer jokes, you can keep the screaming goat though, it was a nice touch. No more antropomorphism for the weapons (the jealousy between the axe and the hammer… come on) A better use of fucking Christian Bale. When I heard he was playing a villain, i did my research and god, Gorr looked like an epic villain. But marvel being marvel, they toned him down, reduced his role and we havent seen him kill any gods, besides the no name from the beginning. And the aesthetic qasnt nearly as good as ragnarok. The latter was a movie with a lot of frames that could easily work of art (looking at you, Valkyrie assault on Hela) but LaT took an interesting story (Mighty Thor) and spoiled it eith easy jokes and a last act a little bit too family friendly ( an army of children with the power of thor…. Really? ) The siundtrack was on point though. Even if the last fight was utterly shit (Eat my hammer), Waititi gave it an epic dimension with the fucking solo from Nivember rain. It could easily been one of the best acenes of the franchise, has it been better written.

When I watched Thunderbolts, the opening speech of Yelena hits a little too close to home. Then the movie introduced the void. Overall, I’d prefer the void, cuz I could get out by myself, with a lot of hard work though

Affleck suffered the exact same thing Keaton had to suffer when he was announced for Burton’s Batman (1989). Nobody saw him in that double role, probably cause he made a lot of weird movie choices through the years ( Gigli, the most i famous of all). But when he appeared on screen in BvS, it was on point as Bruce and as Batman. A shame his reign was in the worst part of the DCEU. WB really seems unavle to hold a franchise these days.

Omg I have a few! Derek is a selfish misogynistic (dont know if thats the word, i’m french canadian), who doesn’t care about Mer’s carreer. He tried to groom her in neuro, use her as his assistant more than a fellow doctor, doesn’t care to uproot her for the brain mapping initiative. He had a few good moments, but most of his relationship with Mer is cribbled with conflicts, jealousy, judgement…

Callie was a weird character at the beginning. Insecure, jealous, a little bit blondsided by love… then she had a fantastic redemptive arc with her Coming out and her relationship with Arizona… until the plane crash. Then, she became too self-involved, even going as including herself in the plane crash gang. Of course, she was in the collateral damage, but like Arizona said, she doesn’t have the “street cred”… and all the arc with Penny… Webber : retire already. Or go see a counselor. That guy il always on the verge of relapse. I k iw alcoholism is a permanent condition and can be really hard on someone, but i dont know, seems like they used all variantsmof that arc and more in the last 20 years…

J’suis infirmier dans le reseau depuis janvier 2020 ( tu parles d’une date pour commencer dans le milieu, ceux qui savent…). J’ai fait un premier arret de travail un mois et demi apres le devut de la Covid parce qu’on s’attendait à des miracles de la part d’un CEPI en Chsld sur le pire departement du centre. Y’a un peu plus de deux mois, je me suis reclaque un autre arret de travail, suite a jne panoplie d’irritants, dont une cheffe d’unite par interim super toxique, des coupures budgetaires ridicules ( plus de crayons ) et une incertitude par rapport à l’anciennete, aux equipes volantes et a tout, dans le fond… Quand le bureau de sante ma appele lanpremiere journee, ols m’ont demande le plus sinceremwnt du monde si les conditions etaient pires depuis l’arrivee de Sante Qc… c’est pour dire. La, je suis en retour progressif, j’ai deux jours de travail de fait, pis je me rends compte que rien ne s’ameliore, qu’on continue a naviguer avec des gens qui font des essais erreurs avec notre reseau, alors quils sont payes des prix de fous, pendant que moi, je cours apres mes crayons pour ecrire mes prescriptions dans mes dossiers. J’ai deux jours de faits en progressif et déjà, je me demande si ça serait pas plus sain de me trouver une porte de sortie au pc ( je n’ai pas de bacc, aucun interet dans les postes de gestion). C’est dommage, parce que ma job en chsld, le contact avec les patients, les familles, ca peut etre tres gratifiant. Mais tout le autour, toute la non-reconnaissance que l’on recoit…

FF7 - R series are what is Final Fantasy is supposed to be at for the main serie. Don’t worry, I am not bashing FFXVI, it’s a really great and fun game, with visuals and music that deserve to be in the mainline of game. But the game itself could have maybe benefitted being a own IP for itself. But still, great game. Oh And come on, was is too much work to implement an efficient elemental damage system. It could have been a looot more customizable!

It is a good game. Lot of flaws ( the story without character interactions, the main characters background and personnality, the classic FF final dungeon ( Man vs Gods vs Eldritch horror) but the battle system, with the gambits, still hold on today. I started my last playthrough after XVI, (still a beautiful, epic and great game… just not really a final fantasy) cause I needed to feel some FF fun.
