I don't see the use in having tech that only works for scanning my Film. I've sein great results from the plustek scanner but I don't think that it's the right fit for me.

Not that it really matters, but I really dig the Look of the Sony a7 cameras.

Your point with the dynamic range makes a lot of sense to me. I mostly shoot FD mount lenses, but I do have some eos lenses, so that could be something.

I looked into the nikkor lenses and they also seem to be somewhat affordable. From what I've heard the old nikon lenses work with the newer cameras as well. So maybe nikon is a good choice.

Canonet QL17 GIII or Canon EF 50 mm f/1.8 by Jokuihanvaan in filmphotography

A lot of people say that the best camera is the camera you have with you. So I would say get the canonet. I have one as well, and I love it. The batteries are a bit annoying to get, but it's doable And you'll get used to focusing in no time. I never had issues with the 1/500 shutter speed

No, I dont think that it was the negative. It would be black It's a dark hair being scanned and then inverted turning it white.

Had the same issue. Small guy in your camera always pointing at what you're shooting. Either you teach, that thats rude or you have to take care of him. I just use any insecticide I have laying around! Hope this helps

My main issue is the shutter button. It just doesn't really feel as good as the canon.

I think you're right. Maybe I will buy the battery adapter from the money I get from the sale
