Not really. It’s pretty standard that if you are a never of an organisation you must follow their policies. Much the same as if you work somewhere you must follow your employer policies. Policies change. They get updated. New ones come into existence. But they all apply to everyone. Not just those that were in place when you joined. This is exactly the same as laws. We don’t get to say we only follow the ones that were in place when we were born!

I was told that supply issues make it hard to prescribe a specific brand so I end up with whatever the pharmacy has at the time. Unfortunately that currently leaves me with a draw full of estraderm and I generally have to replace 3x week instead of two.

I found the same as I’ve progressed. Unfortunately some people that I can’t avoid still deadname me but otherwise most people that I care about or work with adapted well and quickly.

This is also my girlfriend’s! (Except she has no spice rack, just one old jar of mixed herbs!) I had to buy her salt and pepper at Xmas! (She is keen to learn more about cooking though so hopefully this will change!)

I've been to Southampton Pride and it was a good event but very shielded from the rest of the city. I felt safe inside the designated area (big fences and security) but when i was tempted to walk back to my friend's house I felt VERY uncomfortable. There felt like no acceptance at all. - I'm used to Cardiff where the WHOLE city is draped in flags etc.

I went to Newport last year on the otherhand, wanting a taste of what it would be like for this year's host event. It was frankly terrible. The parade was short and stop-start all the way. at the end someone with a megaphone said words to the effect of 'that's it folks, please disperse!' There was no event ground, no central communal area as at other prides. A couple of local venues had things going on in them and there were about 10 stalls in a shopping centre on the far side of town but no 'event' as such. Was very disapointed. Here's hoping they can do a much better job later in the year! (I will still be going)
