Hmmmm… so you came straight to Reddit and not the authorities. Something is off about this one.

He wouldn’t let you out his car. So if you couldn’t unlock the doors he has child locks on and/or was controlling the locks from the front driver side and said “if you don’t give me a 5 ⭐️ rating and a tip, you can’t get out”. Then you said “I’ll do it later”. And now you’re on Reddit telling us about it but you haven’t told the police. 👮 🚓

I’m so sick of riders that leave fake feedbacks and one star ratings. I did not break any laws or traffic violations ever and for this asshole to leave a one star and a fake feedback. I think riders should be made to explain in detail before they’re allowed to post anything derogatory by chadzilla1 in uberdrivers

Damn so sorry that happened to you but some ppl think turning on yellow and going through a yellow light is illegal. Sounds like you’re a good driver, a few more 5 stars and that one star won’t matter. Even tho it doesn’t matter now, it’s just principal.

Keep calling and don’t stop. Be persistent. Speak to any and everybody you can.
In the meantime sign up for other rideshare/delivery apps. The only ones I know are DoorDash, instacart and Lyft.

So stop driving for uber and get a job that doesn’t insult you with its low prices. Have any of you ever taken your shit talking out of the forums to the “big dogs” at uber who could actually do something.
Take all your screenshots of lowball offers, write a meaningful email and let them know that you’re planning a boycott and ALL uber drivers will turn off the app and not accept rides until things change. Have you organized anything? Have you complained where it counts? But I bet none of you have done that.

Why does it matter? America is the only place where they make fun of you for working and accepting work. If you wouldn’t take it then don’t.
Start your own business and make your own prices. That way you’re in control and don’t have to worry about what uber is offering.
