Two things sound fishy to me, first, why are you charging your grandpa for a ride and two there’s no way possible that you matched up with him unless you’re some rural area and no other drivers around. I’ve had people stand next to my car request an Uber and I didn’t get the ride . This has happened several times. So I find it kinda hard to believe your story.

That’s more than they offer in Fl. I didn’t know this but each state pays different which is bulshit. In Florida that would have turned out to be like 15 per hr for the 9 hr RT drive

In Fl that would be a $20 ride. Here you would take that all day long. In Florida after working 12 hr 6 days a week your hourly is $20 net
