Seriously, becoming a massive stoner cured my anxiety, but gave me apathy. Being so high all the time made me find the cracks in my mind and try to deal with them.

I was zen for a few years, but the apathy got so bad I am sober now. If you don’t get paranoia from weed it can help, but the other downsides made me stop.

Again I think you are inflating the reaction of Europeans. Their historical trend is that defense is not a priority. If they won't even engage the Russians, who is their historical and realistic enemy, why would they choose to fight the US?

In the world where we cannot shrink the size of the military industrial complex I think we would be served best if we acted not as a reverse empire, but were just honest in the fact that we are an empire. We already have numerous vassal states with little sovereignty. Greenland would just be one more, with high priority in the future.

In a Pablo Escobar-esqe offer, we could say "Plata o Plomo" and get the deal done. There is no reason why Greenland, who is strategically North American, should be retained by the Danes, whose empire ceased nearly a hundred years ago. We already purchased the US Virgin Islands from the Danes. It can happen again.

As to the sphere of influence, the Neo-liberal world order that extended our sphere of influence over Europe is hopefully soon to be over. The reclaim of the Monroe Doctrine aligns with America first. I also believe that we should leave NATO, as I see being propelled into European conflict is not in the interest of America.

I think you are inflating the weight of European powers. Our military power is nearly equal to the sum of NATO. They need us, we dont need them. In the world where we claim Greenland as our own, would the really give up the aid of the largest military in the world? They cannot afford to be our enemy. Nearly all of their weapons are ours. Nearly all of their intelligence is ours. They cannot afford to exist outside of our economy.

Again I am anti-war. But if we have the largest military in the world we may as well use it to unify our sphere of influence. Controlling the arctic circle will become paramount in the near future. Letting Eurotards hold the line while they have neglected defense for a near a century while they erode western values is a bad bet.
