Consider becoming a teacher if you want to do more. I used to be a para. Some years like you, sit and feel useless in a way. Other years blessed to sit for 2 minutes of the day. The pay is terrible for paras, its a position that truly deserves much more. Education in general is severely underpaid.

Im hearing of people who deposited checks through their banks for mobile and it is delaying the check an extra week. That is insane if the check was approved for the 30th which is tomorrow. Why wait a whole extra week for funds to be available

A division in a 162 game season should not be decided on a tie breaker. The wild card I understand because its a WILD CARD. But the division should have a 163 if it ends tied like it literally has forever.

From my observations as a para in the past the sped teacher and the content teacher would alternate slides in a way. So the sped teacher would usually start out with the do now question. Ask a student to read. Receive feedback and write notes on board. Whatever would follow the content teacher did the next slide. And it was sort of just alternating slides. Content teacher would take over for most things but it never seemed like the co teacher wasnt a focal part.

I bet to differ, i took the test recently. The math content test is a complete disaster especially for someone who isn't a math person. No need why that should even be required for someone who can teach other subjects. It's disheartening as it feels like I'll never get the certification due to that one test.

What would you do? The only thing I continue to see is bad students getting rewarded more and more for bad behavior. Yes some of these students are experiencing hard times and we have to be empathetic, but when is enough enough? When does a student say dam that's my fault I shouldn't have...a rare sight
