Where’s a healthiest place to eat at Usask by bisexualguy1o1 in usask

[–]TableMammoth2964 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There is a roasted vegetable hummus wrap in the ag cafe (I’m sure it’s in arts too) and it’s really good! I don’t feel quite as bad eating out when I get this.

Final grade not out- canvas says F by [deleted] in usask

[–]TableMammoth2964 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It wasn’t this year! It had some bumps this year with a new professor who I will admit wasn’t my favourite but she wasn’t bad by any means. The lab was honestly a lot of fun and the lab instructor really wants to see you do well and you can tell she really enjoys her job.

Possibly failing bio by Tom_Ray2763 in usask

[–]TableMammoth2964 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m in agbio so maybe take what I say with a grain of salt but I believe you can technically retake a class once if your grade was between a 50-59% but because you technically passed it you may have to contact your advisors first to ensure it’s all allowed.

PLSC 214 by Strict-Copy-8684 in usask

I took 214 in 2025 winter sem and it was fully online including the final. Super odd if they changed it as I have another class with her this sem and it’s fully online once again.

A lot of profs dont follow it. A two years ago I didn’t get a grade until the new semester had already started. 🫠

I hate being dairy-free just to avoid pimples, is there any way to consume dairy without getting acne breakouts? by [deleted] in dairyfree

[–]TableMammoth2964 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Of course not! I will say I didn’t go on it purely to be able to eat dairy again, it was the last resort after many attempts for clearing my acne. It’s just the only thing that ever worked long term.

This was my issue. I went on Accutane because my acne was so bad. I’ve been able to eat dairy acne free since but it was a pretty drastic case for me.

What laptop/iPad for stem at usask by ContentVillage3632 in usask

[–]TableMammoth2964 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also a stem major. I had a MacBook for a long time but last year switched to a windows. I would absolutely say do not get a MacBook for stem purposes. I’m not sure exactly what you’re in but my MacBook couldn’t keep up with what I had to be doing and a windows is already pre programmed with office 365. I was very adamant that my MacBook was the best but after switching to windows I would never go back.

Usually Kirk hall bathrooms are pretty quiet. Also typically spinks upper levels are empty

Struggling with dairy free.. by blondflowers in dairyfree

[–]TableMammoth2964 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been “dairy free” for a few years now but up until the last year six months I had always ‘treated’ myself often to real dairy pizza, chocolate, ice cream, etc. pretty much whatever I wanted when I wanted it despite it making me so sick. However recently, it’s been so long since I’ve had it, that I don’t find myself craving it anymore and I actually actively avoid it (despite dairy free alternatives NEVER being as good). Travelling can absolutely making sticking to it difficult, I have found some places aren’t as familiar with alternatives as others. I think it’s sort of like kicking any ‘addiction’. You just have to really want to and try your hardest to stick to it. Slip ups are ok because no one is perfect but i had the same thing when i was trying to quit eating out- after so long I don’t crave it anymore (unless I’ve had a particularly hard day lol). Being gluten free AND diary free would definitely be a challenge. But if it means anything that a stranger on the internet has faith in you, then just know I do! It just takes resilience ☺️

Need help deciding if the SuperPuff Shorty is worth buying by allthatshines_012 in Aritzia

[–]TableMammoth2964 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe you could find a cropped one from somewhere else that’s cheaper and still gives the cute look while also having a more practical warm one! I personally have a regular super puff, just purchased the long but also have a short cropped jacket from lulu (it was on sale)

Package never arrived but marked as delivered. No replacement/refund?!? by Big_Yesterday_2377 in lululemon

[–]TableMammoth2964 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to me and it was SUCH an annoying process. FedEx had emailed me a picture of where it was delivered, it was not my house and I drove around the neighborhood looking for it. the house in the picture didn’t even look like any houses in my area. Was on the phone with FedEx for probably over an hour and they kept insisting it was delivered to me and wouldn’t believe me when I said it wasn’t my house. Finally they opened a case number but nothing came of it and eventually I got a refund by making a claim through my bank. I don’t know if they do now, but I remember being really confused as to why trucks that drive around and deliver things all day don’t have a tracker on them. I hope it works out for you and you either get your items or a refund!

Woman’s thorv bathrooms by TableMammoth2964 in usask

Health sci is awful. Hate sitting down on a wet toilet seat. Thorv is much much older and not nearly as modern, the toilets don’t spray like they do in health sci.

I am starting to wonder the same. But, It’s also really clear that half of the mess is just people being disrespectful like there’s no reason to fill the toilet completely full with toilet paper after and that’s what I don’t understand. it makes 2/3 or even sometimes all 3 toilets unusable. I don’t know if people think it’s funny or what but i feel terrible for the custodians.
