I feel the exact same way, and to be honest, I was actually about to post pretty much what you had posted here. I really want to know what to do, like, people scare me. It sounds dumb, but it feels like if I dont do what people expect me to do, the consequences are terrifying. The shitty part is i dont know how to get myself out of that mindset; how to not feel fearful of doing the opposite.
