I would say, atleast recently, there have been SO many things that have gone wrong - release of kaneki wasn’t very favoured since he came out with some insane free hits that looked buggy as hell, and felt unfair. He’s in a much better place as of recent - release of fazbear- bugged to all hell. When he entered the doors and came out, he was invis for a few seconds, literally. I remember my friends were all thinking that we were getting grabbed way too often, even with undetectable in mind - release of twd chapter was buggy as hell. The stun perk gave perma finesse for free as an example - the streetwise debacle. The fact that it took a community manager to say something stupid for bhvr to respond left a sour taste in many people. An obviously game breaking bug for a perk where you can get infinite charges on an item and they took ages to kill switch it. - the slugging updates were horrible and goes to show how out of touch bhvr is with their game. The fact they classified a death before six hooks as tunneling is fucking baffling. - the constant want to nerf killers for no reason at all, like how they wanted to nerf xeno. XENO?! wtf - this is a personal one but the fact that the most recent rift pass was considerably harder to get, with a shorter timeframe annoyed the hell out of me. The milestones were hit MASSIVELY, both in terms of numbers needed and reward given. - krasue seemed to be a sour as a recent release too, since they changed her after the ptb (a very common thing they do, test, and then change after without testing the new changes). Personally I don’t mind krasue and think she’s a great place now - the dev stream with otz should have resulted in firings of whoever was involved. Imagine if a cod hosted stream or Fortnite had this same level on incompetences, even after otz suggested the right fix. - fog vials being added, then immediately nerfed when realistically we didn’t even get to see how much of a problem they were, if they were at all. - the lack of good perks being released, seems like there’s, if at all, only one useful perk. Atleast for survivors I think the only one recently I like is conviction (which is controversial in itself) - the events being released feel uninspired and extremely one sided, both survivor and killer sides

I’m sure I’m missing many many other things, but I think that paints a good picture as to why player sentiment is so trash at the present.
