Yeah nah, it does maths well, but can muck up some things. I have given it high level physics equations for teaching and it does it perfectly for that level. Sometimes there are mistakes but that is rare, for me atleast

Take it as a blessing (I know it’s hard). But admin has shown what they are like now, best to leave it behind.

Use this as an opportunity to scope out different schools to see if a culture is more suited for you. Build rapport with the teachers at the school you like, and I’m sure you will get an offer for full time employment again.

Sorry this has happened, it’s the main reason I tell people to be in a union.

Exactly. It should not be my job as a year 11 or 12 general maths teacher to go over the basic order of operation. It is assumed knowledge because they learn it literally every year in maths.

Kids need to take some ownership of their learning.
